Sharing the HOPE of Christ…

Hope Evangelical Church is located on the eastern edge of the city of Hyderabad, India. In the heart of great spiritual darkness, with 22 Hindu temples in the area, God has raised up a beacon of hope for the lost. 

From a humble beginning of seven families (about 30 members) in 2001, Hope Evangelical Church has grown to over 300 families and 1,200 members!  80% of the congregation comes from non-Christian background.

The new church building was dedicated for the glory of God on June 18th 2006.  It currently serves as the home for New Hope School, New Hope Childrens Home, as well as Hope Evangelical Church.

On Easter weekend last year, 70 new converts followed the Lord in baptism. The church members went into the streets on Easter morning and handed out 6,000 Gospel tracts in the community! 

Each year on our mission trips to India, one of the biggest blessings is to worship and praise God alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ in Hope Evangelical Church.
